If They Made a Styling Barbie Head In Your Likeness What Makeup Would You Want It To Come With?

Over the years there have been a variety of different super-size Barbie’s heads that Mattel has introduced and had me lusting after a child. What wasn’t to love about a big old Barbie head that came with a bunch of makeup and hair accessories? You could style her hair (or completely cut it off! That did happen once!) anyway you wanted and apply heavy blush to the apples of her cheeks without remorse or guilt. It was a total win situation. I do blame Styling Barbie for my own heavy handed makeup mishaps though! I think my devil may care attitude of applying heavy purple eyeshadow and ten or more layers of apple red blush to her cheeks at age eight was what acted to develop my own makeup application and skills. I’ve been known to go around with clown cheeks on more than one occasional I’m comfortable to admitting.

What if Mattel called you tomorrow and said they wanted to create one of those Barbie head’s in your likeness? What sort of makeup would you want it to come with?

I’d keep mine simple I think!

Concealer, concealer, concealer! At least a few different choices and formulas. Tarte Shape Tape, It Cosmetics Bye Bye Concealer, and Jouer Essential High Coverage Liquid Concealer just to name a few!

For foundation, I’d go with Benefit’s Hello Happy Soft Blur Foundation. I love natural coverage and this provides it!

I’d want an eyelash curler for sure prefer Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler along with my I love you but I hate you It Cosmetics Super Hero Mascara for my lashes. For my eyes, I’d go with the Maybelline the Matte Bar Eyeshadow Palette. It’s just my favorite thing right now.

Since this is all imaginary and make believe I’ll live in a fantasy land where MAC Sweet Vision is still available and that would be my one and only pick for cheeks!

And for my lips some Revlon Dream in Nude Super Lustrous Lipgloss!

Your turn!

What would your doll’s accessories include?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Oh! This is so fun! Tourmaline curler for hair. KVD Tattoo eyeliner. Custom eyelashes. Crayon undereye concealer. Automatic eyebrow pencil.

Saw an article recently of a girl who wanted the latest YouTube influencer eyeshadow palette. Mom thought it was a waste.

Got me thinking though. Wouldn’t it be the ultimate fantasy/luxury if say, PUPA would make a custom makeup compact kit of only the makeup the purchaser uses.
