Too Faced Cosmic Crush Eyeshadow Palette for Fall 2023 is Serving Us Boring
Fall 2023 Makeup Collections are starting to drop (and July we’ll start seeing Holiday 2023 Makeup Collections! Time flies!) and Too Faced Fall 2023 is one of the first we’ve seen drop. Too Faced Cosmic Crush Eyeshadow Palette launches very soon and it’s serving up a generous helping of boring. Are we going to see cosmos, moons, and space as a trend for Fall 2023? Please, I prayer and hope that this isn’t a trend that catches on because really, as a nerd I love me some space sh*t but I can do without it being injected into my makeup life (didn’t we go through this cosmos thing a few years ago?). This is a fairly small Fall 2023 launch and dare I say a bit uneventful. Can I just say you can feel that Jerrod is gone vibe right now and the Estee Lauder we phoned this in for you force is strong? Not that I miss Jerrod as he was pretty problematic but and tone deaf (rich lives matter anyone!?) but some credit goes to him for making Too Faced a bit exciting especially in his later years. But we all knew that once Estee Lauder forked over that 1.45 billion that Jerrod’s lifespan at Too Faced was pretty short lived.
For a while Too Faced had a steady steam of fairly good collections and releases. They felt a little revived from the constant re-hash of products. I mean, it wasn’t hardcore excitement but there was def a moment or two I was like, “Oh that’s quite nice! I might need to pick that up!”
Too Faced Cosmic Crush Eye Shadow Palette is a new $52 16 shade palette with matte, shimmer, and metallic shades. It looks like a nice round of shades but also, it feels like I already own these shades dozens of times over in other palettes I own. I will say Too Faced hasn’t quite done shades like this. I mean, sure, if we look through all our Too Faced Palettes I’m sure we can find dupes but I’m sort of glade this isn’t a rehash of their normal browns, golds, and bronzes that they normally embrace for Fall. But you still can’t get me to purchase this full price when I feel like it’ll be 50% off by the Holidays or sooner.

Too Faced Moon Crush Highlighter ($36) is also, a new Fall 2023 release. This is an apple scented highlighter with a polished crystal finish and the formula of a liquid in a powder!
And last but not lease a new Lip Injection Maximum Plump Lip Gloss in the shade Cosmic Crush ($33). This sparkling beige gold is available for a limited time with this collection and provides hydration, shine, and plump to lips.
