Bath & Body Works Santa’s Blueberry Shortbread is a new, limited edition Holiday 2019 fragrance that launched with the Sweet Shop Collection late November. This is probably one of the best collections I’ve seen from Bath & Body Works in a while and give me hopes for the Valentine’s Day and early Spring launches as that’s when they do another “Sweet” Collection. As you know, sometimes the names of products can be very deceiving when it comes to Bath & Body Works. I mean they’ll spin a scent with notes of a cupcake with strawberry buttercream frosting and vanilla cake and it smells NOTHING like a cupcake. For a gourmand lover like myself it can be freaking disappointing.
But this year’s round of gourmands for the Holidays are perfect. So far I’ve tried Merry Cookie and Bright Lemon Snowdrop and both were outstanding fragrances that I may need backups of! And Santa’s Blueberry Shortbread is turning out to be just as great!

I picked up Nabla Cosmetics Glazing Highlighter in Truth during the Black Friday sales and fell in love instantly with it. I know, I know! I’m always bitching about how I hate highlighters but I do so love a highlighter that works great as a blush and that’s exactly what Nabla Skin Glazing Highlighter in Truth does! It works great as a highlighter but it’s pigmented enough to work fabulously as a blush too!
What more could a girl want?

Time to fill in the beauty blank! “My Last Makeup Purchase That Surprised Me Was….” Have you purchased something recently that you were a bit iffy on but brought it anyway and maybe it turned into a pleasant surprise or worst, maybe you thought you were going to love it and you were surprised you didn’t!
What was the last makeup purchase that surprised you?
The last purchase that purchase that surprised me was the Tati Beauty Eyeshadow Palette. I’ve watched a video or two from Tati but I’m not a big fan or anything. Nothing against Tati, I’m just not a youTube person. I’m old school and I still prefer reading blogs versus watching youTube videos.
This was a rather spontaneous purchase because I noticed a dune shade in it I really liked the looks of. Yeah, paying $48 for two shades I liked is a bit extreme but I’m always on the hunt for a perfect dune brown and this palette had one. But this palette had a lot working against it. First off, the price was high for something created by Seed Beauty (Colourpop is also by Seed Beauty and not nearly as highly priced) and secondly, it contained pressed glitters and I hate pressed glitters.
But I said screw it and I ordered it and it turned into the biggest surprise every!
Was it a bad surprise or a good one?
