Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover Lip Oil Stick and Meltdown Makeup Remover Cleansing Oil Stick on Sale + Free Shipping

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Urban Decay Rehab Skincare

Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover Lip Oil Stick is $7.50 with free shipping at macys.com today Also, Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover Cleansing Oil Stick is on sale for $13 with free shipping. I’m not too surprised to see these on sale but what does surprise is it took so long for them to clearance out as I don’t think Urban Decay successfully made the transition into skincare at all. Most of the offerings were dismal from this launch. I did like the Meltdown Makeup Remover Lip Oil Stick so that might be worth checking out especially at this price.

Be sure to check out the other clearance beauty at macys.com as they have quite a few nice offerings from Philosophy, Clinique, Urban Decay, and more!

Enjoy!

First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Coconut Water Cream for Spring 2018

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

A new year, a new coconut skincare product! First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Coconut Water Cream ($34) is what I consider the brand’s traditional coconut skincare release. Last year, they released their Hello FAB Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer for the new year and now this new cream for Spring 2018.

I’m one of those people that’s like, “OMG COCONUT! I need all the coconut skincare things!” I just love the smell of coconut! It reminds me of a tropical island. So, yeah, please sign me up for a jar of Hello FAB Coconut Water Cream!

This is oil-free formula and that likely has a gel-like texture. Water creams are commonly gels in Korea but quickly “burst” upon contact with skin and become more of a liquid which absorbed super fast. It’s like giving your skin a drink. I’ve featured quite a few of these in the past and you’ve likely heard me rave Skinfood Premium Lettuce & Cucumber Watery Cream quite a bit over the years.

Which 2017 Makeup Trend Do You Hope to See Die in 2018?

2018 is here and hopefully it brings us new, unique, and interesting makeup trends! Which 2017 makeup trends do you hope to see die in 2018? I mean the ones you really hated and just wish they’d disappear off the face of the planet forever?

I think you know the ones I’m going to list below but before I get my knife out and start stabbing them in the heart let’s look back and think about what sort of makeup trends we saw happening in 2017.

I wouldn’t call 2017 the year of innovation by any means nor were there any very unique or interesting trends that grabbed my attention. In someways, you could say that makeup actually seemed to take a step back with brands like Too Faced somehow re-inventing themselves into Lisa Frank. There were unicorns, cute puppies, and sweet little peaches too that Too Faced did their very best to market to the makeup world and some of us really fell in love with where as others of us shook our heads in bafflement. And let me tell you now, Too Faced is not nearly done with the “cute” as they prepare to launch their new entirely unicorn inspired makeup range for Spring 2018. You’re either overjoyed and throwing glitter in the air or you’re slumped in a corner muttering sarcastically about death to all unicorns like Daria.

In the Spring of 2015 contouring took center stage in the beauty world and here we are nearly 3 years later and brands are still promoting shaping, contouring, and chiseling you to perfection. Contouring isn’t a new trend by any means but I think it became a lot more common outside the world of magazines, models, and photo shoots. Suddenly, anyone could easily contour at home with a simple palette and a good brush.

And of course, we can’t forget the all mighty long-wearing matte liquid lipstick. Truly a longstanding trend that continues into Spring 2018 considering Covergirl has already launched an entire range of new matte lipsticks with their latest collection. Just when I thought glossy lips were making a come back!

Do Try Out MAC Mineralize Charcoal Skincare

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Where does one begin with the new MAC Mineralize Total Detox Skincare Collection for Spring 2018? Perhaps with Mineralize Volcanic Ash Exfoliator which is really where it all started isn’t it? Mineralize Volcanic Ash Exfoliator launched in 2008 for a limited and later in 2012 became a permanent part of their skincare collection. Needless to say it made an impact with a lot of fans of MAC as it was a stellar exfoliating option that left skin smooth and soft.

If anyone is a Lush fan you’ve likely tried Coal Face which I consider the solid version of MAC Volcanic Ash Exfoliator. Later on in life Lush released Dark Angels Cleanser which was a chunkier version of Coal Face. I’ve always felt like these three products gave birth to a whirlwind of drugstore charcoal skincare options later like Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser and Freeman Charcoal & Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask ( this one being a very cheap, inexpensive dupe of MAC’s formula).

I realized I haven’t been following Volcanic Ash Exfoliator. It sort of dropped off my radar only until this repromote I can’t even say I know if it was still part of the permanent line or if MAC is bringing it back in this collection. I do know one thing, this has made me want to revisit it and see if I love it as much as I once did and even give some of the other items in this collection a whirl. The good news is, if you never tried it before now is a good chance to do so!

Let’s take a look!
