I’m round off my Nordstrom 2017 Anniversary Sale and struggling every so slightly with my beauty picks this year. I did add the new Chanel Les Beiges Gel Touch Healthy Glow Tint into my cart. This one was a no brainer purchase for me as it’s a sheer, subtle tint that has a dewy finish plus it contains hyaluronic acid. What more could you want in a makeup?

I’m drier as you know and I don’t have blemish prone skin plus my complexion is smooth and I don’t have visible pores. I’m always looking for sheerer coverage that will ease dullness and brighten but not overpower me with a crazy amount of pigmented coverage I don’t need. That’s where Chanel Les Beiges Gel Touch Healthy Glow Tint will excel. Apparently it also provides eight hours of moisture retention as well which is an added bonus.

I’m hoping it’s as lovely as Vitalumiere Aqua which is one of my fav foundations from Chanel.

You know how they say beauty is pain? That’s pretty spot on accurate when it comes to the new Shea Moisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Milk Mask. It’s actually really great for my skin but oh my gosh it’s painful!

I’m still trying to find out exactly what it is in Shea Moisture that cause this awful burning feeling when you apply them. Last year, I picked up the Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Hydrating Mud Mask and Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Radiance Mud Mask and the formulas just weren’t to be my liking. Granted, the Coconut & Hibiscus was a little more tame but the Raw Shea Butter one wasn’t friendly to my dry non-sensitive skin.

I kept all of this in mind when I purchased the Shea Moisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Milk Mask but had hidden hopes it would work out for a good.

Benefit Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer ($20) is a new concealer that launched with the revamped Boi-ing Concealer Collection. As you already know Benefit discontinued Lemon Aid and relaunched their Boi-ing Concealer in new packaging as well as revamped their entire concealer range as well as renamed Erase Paste. Lots of changes in the world of Benefit Concealer lately!

One of the newest and latest releases, packaging revamps aside, is this new Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer that I had hopes might be some sort of whipped up formula like my beloved and long gone Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer.

Hourglass Confession Ultra Slim High Intensity Refillable Lipstick reminds me of those 80’s vintage makeup commercials I love watching on youTube. It seemed like slim line lipsticks were all the rage back in the 80’s and marketed as super chic and fashionable. If you used one you’d surely become instantly beautiful, successful, and a complete jet set model. I dunno, that’s what some of the ads implied. I’m still waiting for my jet to arrive 🙂

But for the record Confession Ultra Silm High Intensity Lipstick is the real deal. These elegant slim-like lipsticks aren’t only pretty but they can also be refilled so if, by some rare chance, you do finish one (remember, finishing a lipstick is tough when you’re a makeup junkie and hoarder) you can buy a refill and pop it right in. Note that the shade names are printed on the barrel, cool right?
