Get some pleasant dreams with the new Pixi Beauty Sleep Cream ($22)! Pixi Beauty Sleep Cream is a “rich night cream” that contains 100% natural mango butter, plus oils of lavender, lemon and bergamot.

At first I confused this week a sleep pack of sorts but it is in fact a moisturizer. It comes housed in a 1.18 oz tube with an attached plump. Just a note many of Pixi’s newest Skintreats like the H20 Skin Drink and Glowtion Day Cream come in this packaging and thus far I had no problem. However, I struggled with the pump on the Beauty Sleep Cream a little bit. This could be a fluke but it deserved mentioning that I had a real problem getting the product flow out of the pump!

I’m really like many of Pixi’s newest skincare products but many of them contain a good deal of fragrance which could be a deal breaker for a lot of people. Pixi Beauty Sleep Cream sadly falls victim to that issue. This has a really, really strong lavender fragrance. Lavender oil has also been known to irritate skin so just keep that in mind prior to purchasing. I don’t mind fragrance in my skin care but I’m not a fond fan of the scent of lavender so it did kind of make me curl my nose up. It’s a scent that lingers as well.

I had my doubts about the formula.

I’m just going to throw it out there and say I love the idea that Chuck is God’s meat suit.

That is all.

Oh wait, and also, I’m going to say I really love the new Bobbi Brown University Eye Palette ($60) because apparently it’s big and affordable. Typically Bobbi’s 12 pan eyeshadow palettes run a hell of a lot more than $60 big ones so I’m thinking it must be my lucky day. Too bad the colors are so very Fall-like! Why can’t this be a big old selection of peach colors. My obsession with peach eyeshadow continues since Too Faced Sweet Peach and Etude House Juice Bar just didn’t quite cut it.

The University Eye Palette was inspired my professional eyeshadow sets used by Bobbi.
