Pat Mcgrath IntensifEYES Longwear Primer Coming Soon

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Mother is currently blowing up the internet with the great debate about the new Mothership XI: Sunlit Seduction Eyeshadow Palette and whether or not we REALLY NEED yet another rose palette but no one is talking about the fact there’s also a new IntensifEYES Longwear Primer launching along with the palette.

I’m going to be very honest with you right now and my honesty may disturb you. I haven’t worn eyeshadow primer in a really long time. GASP! I know right? After Urban Decay Primer Potion’s formula changed I found some replacements for it but after a while I realized I don’t need eyeshadow primer. My eyes are dry and I don’t really have issues with creasing so applying a primer was just another extra step I didn’t really need to do. I cut it from last a few years ago and to this day I haven’t used it. Even in really hot, humid weather I don’t bother with it! I wouldn’t recommend anyone who has oily lids take this route but if you have drier eyes chances are you really don’t need an eyeshadow primer or on a rare day you MIGHT require one with a really creamy eyeshadow formula.

Which means, you probably won’t need to spend $32 on Pat Mcgrath IntensifEYES Longwear Primer. I’m sure the humidity, sweat,. and water-proof formula is going to be great but I’m pretty sure I can live happily without it. That being said those with oily lids you might find this helps with creasing as per the description sounds like it’ll get your eyeshadow wearing well for up to 24 hours straight.

Mother says, “Unleash your divine gaze with IntensifEYES™ Longwear Primer. It’s not just a primer, it’s a transformative canvas that amplifies color and dimension, allowing your eye shadow to pop with unyielding intensity. Experience the majesty of crease-proof, smudge-proof eye artistry that endures. It’s time to conquer the world one lustful gaze at a time.”

Pat Mcgrath IntensifEYES Longwear Primer releases soon along with the Mothership XI: Sunlit Seduction Eyeshadow Palette. Do you think you need it in your life?

Jones Road Oil-Free Moisturizer Is Here for Your Summer Needs

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I’m currently having my love affair with Jones Road so I will purchase the new Jones Road Oil-Free Moisturizer. I know, I know. You’re thinking, “But you have dry skin…” Truth! Also, I just slather myself in as much moisture as possible. But it’s Summer, it’s humid, so, oil-free moisturizer is my best. I normally use and swear by CosRX Oil-Free Ultra Moisturizing Lotion. I actually use this even in the cooler weather as it provides nice, lightweight moisture and wears well under makeup without producing excess shine or greasiness. But I’m will to cheat on it a little with Jones Road.

This new moisturizer is $39 and has a fragrance-free water-based formula. It’s apparently lightweight and leaves skin smooth and hydrated without being too heavy or creating excess shine. It also contains niacinamide which is great for brightening up your complexion.

I’m really liking the simplicity of Jones Roads Beauty! I want to check out their eye cream as well! I’m a diehard fan of the old Bobbi Brown Eye Cream and I’m wondering if there are any similarities in the formula and texture.

Jones Road Oil-Free Moisturizer is available now for $39.

Tree Hut Moonlight Glow Has a Body Mist and I’m Here for It

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

The new Tree Hut Moonlight Glow has launched in body scrub, body butter, and most important a new body mist. I’m so here for Tree Hut doing more Body Mists! As you know they did a Tropic Glow Body Mist this past Summer and it was quite fun! I’m not sure if that is limited edition or available as part of the general catalog now but I hope it sticks around as Tropic Glow is a fan favorite since it smells similar to Sol de Janeiro’s Cheirosa ’62 review . Tree Hut Fall 2023 launched last weekend and sadly, no new body mists but hey, I’m here for more if they to throw some our way!

Tree Hut Moonlight Glow is a Target Exclusive Collection that’s available now in stores and online at target.com. Personally, I had a hard time finding in stores so I’ll grab it online. The scent description has been sort of hush hush and I haven’t heard many people talking about what it smells like.

It contains a mix of Evening Primrose, Avocado, Macadamia, Sweet Almond, Safflower and Orange Oils and the one person I did hear speaking about it says it’s a warm fruity scent. I thought maybe it would have been more of a spa-like fragrance since it feels like they are going for a zen moment with this launch.

Tree Hut Moonlight Glow Wellness Body Mist, Tree Hut Moonlight Glow Shea Whipped Body Butter, and Tree Hut Moonlight Glow Shea Sugar Body Scrub are all $8.99 each. I’m glad they launched all three products as the fragrance mist will last longer when layered over the lotion.

I’m looking forward to trying Tree Hut Moonlight Glow. Are you?

Hard Candy Glosstopia Lip Repair Oil Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
5 stars out of 5

Hard Candy Glosstopia Lip Repair Oil ($7.97) is a new, affordable range of hydrating, transparent lip oils with vitamin e, squalane, and jojoba oil. Lip oils are having their come back moment in the sun thanks to Tiktok. I really feel like Zoomers go hard for lip oils. It could be because they prefer more minimal makeup! I’m not sure they sure are popular at the moment. I remember when Milani introduced their Moisture Lock Oil Infused Lip Treatment in 2016. That was sort of the big introduction to more affordable lip oils (there was Aquafina but that was really BACK in the day haha!).

Since that time many brands have introduced lips! NYX Fat Oil Lip Drip Vegan Lip Oil, Florence by Mills Glow Yeah Lip Oil, Covergirl Vitalist Elixir Lip Oil, and on and on and on…! And hey, for those who might remember Hard Candy already had a lip oil back in the day called Blooming Lip Oil and it was pretty darn awesome! But one thing I feel they all share in common is the fact they aren’t technically oils are they? They are more like a lightweight hydrating lipgloss! Do we agree?
