This Under $15 SPF Is a Must If You HATE Wearing Sunscreen

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.
5 stars out of 5

There’s a lot of things in the beauty world that aren’t entirely pleasant. Waxing, plucking brows, shaving, applying liquid eyeliner…the list is pretty big when it comes to beauty things that aren’t particularly fun. One of the worst things in my opinion is sunscreen! I HATE applying sunscreen! It’s thick, it’s greasy, it leaves a white cast, it doesn’t work well with makeup, it’s heavy…

SPF just isn’t fun, is it? Thankfully, that’s changed a lot over the years, and formulas have improved. Japanese and Korean formulas are ones, that for many years, have been the most user-friendly when it comes to being lightweight, easy to apply, non-greasy or tacky, quick absorbing, and just not a chore to wear.

One such formula I’ve been loving lately is Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50 PA++++!

I totally change my mind about Pat Mcgrath Skin Fetish Sublime Perfection Blurring Under-Eye Powder now that I have the banana shade in my possession! I picked up the shade Pat Mcgrath Skin Fetish Sublime Perfection Blurring Under-Eye Powder and it took me some time but I finally mastered the application and even wrote a how-to guide to apply it! It took me a bit of time but it worked out. Because let me tell you those first several tries weren’t good. This stuff just aged my eyes horribly and creased badly.

BYOMA Melting Cleansing Balm Is What I’m Using Right Now To Remove My Makeup

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
5 stars out of 5

I’m on my second jar of BYOMA Melting Cleansing Balm and I thought it was time for a quickie review especially since I included it in last week’s cleanser roundup. I picked this up at Target a few weeks back and I went through my first jar so quickly. I was actually surprised at how fast I went through it. Testimony to how much I liked it perhaps?

This is a nice first cleanse product. It’s buttery and has a softer texture than Banila Co’s Clean It Zero but melts upon contact with skin and feels a bit oily on the skin but rinses clean away. It does a great job removing my makeup and does so easily without tugging. It does give your eyes a bit of that trippy cloudy vision thing but that disappears quickly enough.

The formula is fragrance and cruelty-free however, I do get some sort of scent that’s sort of lemony and herbal. That’s actually the bad news, this contains rosemary which could account for what I am smelling. I typically avoid essential oils from herbs like rosemary but I’m making an exception with this balm since it does such a great job removing all my makeup without leaving me tight and dry not to mention contains niacinamide as well as ceramides to keep your complexion bright and smooth. The main base of the balm is olive and grapeseed oils.

If you’re shopping for new cleansing balms the BYOMA Melting Cleansing Balm is a nice one to take a peek at! It’s $14.99 for a 2.12 oz jar and you can snag it Target or directly from BYOMA.

Has anyone tried it?
