Musings of the Day
I read alot of various beauty sites, forums, and blogs and I was curious what do you think of Beauty Brand Blogs? You know your favorite beauty brand that creates a blog and posts to it, that type of thing. Sephora has one, Benefit, The Body Shop, Lancome, etc…..
Brands have really embraced social media in a major way lately. Urban Decay is guilty of being thee most amazingly outgoing brand ever on Twitter in my opinion. They are dedicated to their fans and communicate with them on Twitter like no one’s biz. Facebook is another popular media option for brands as well.
But what happens when brands venture into the world of beauty blogging?
Do you like Beauty Brand Blogs?
Not so much?
Why or why not?
I know we looked at the Sephora Holiday Catalog yesterday but its kinda traditional for me to take snaps of the seasonal catalog and place ‘em up in a post as I really enjoy looking through it by myself but I find it even more fun to discuss it and look at it with all of you since you’re as beauty obsessed as I am.
Here’s a few pictures of the catalog if you haven’t already gotten it or if you’re sadly abroad and won’t be able to see it for yourself.
I was flipping through a Lucky magazine while waiting for my flu shot last week and came across a product that promises to fade tattoos. Crazy right? You mean no laser surgery if you’re feeling regretful and remorseful. Hell, I’d go all out tattoo crazy if I knew I could fade them at home when I got tired of ‘em.
Does it work? Probably not.
But wanna take a look?
And by the way, do you regret your own ink?
I’m a little lagged today but new posts are upcoming for you shortly. Until I get them up wanna Muse what makeup purchases you made over the long weekend?
Not sure how many of you had off yesterday but that gave you Saturday, Sunday, and Monday to indulge if you were! Any great purchases?
Do share ‘em!
Would love to hear!
Be back soon with new reviews, Holiday Collection 2010 coverage, and more!
I’ve been curious about airbrushing for a long time but I’ve always been a bit hesitate to try since it seems like alot of work. There are alot of systems currently out that offer affordable airbrushing such as the Temptu. Not only is the unit affordable but it’s super easy clean up, application, and seems like a great way to get flawless coverage.
Do you Temptu?
