I can’t believe Easter is around the corner. It came so very early this year! Not to mention the very mild March we are having! I suspect April will be rainy though.

I thought I’d round up a few posts I did around this time last in makeup and beauty for you to have a look at! It’s kinda fun looking back on March last year’s releases versus the ones avaiable this year.

Urban Decay Gash Lipstick returned for Spring 2015 last year. God, how I love Gash! Truly a great lipstick! This March, we’re seeing UD XX Vice Ltd Reloaded Palette as the big one that’s on everyone’s lips. Will you be hauling it?

I was just discussing orange becoming a potential trend for Summer 2016 and go figure last year around this time I was discussing orange lipsticks and glosses!

Hard Candy has a lot on offer for Spring/Summer 2016 but let’s no forget how great the Hard Candy Plumping Serum Lipstick was! If you haven’t tried it you’re in for a treat!

A big question last year was are your favorite makeup formulas changing? I know I’m still saying that Urban Decay Primer Potion is simply not as great as it once was!

As far as I’m concerned this is still a weapon and not a hair brush!

Sonia’s new Knock Out Beauty Collection for Spring 2016 is on my hit list but last year Sonia Kashuk Sahara Sunset Highlighter had my heart!

A really important question last year, “How comfortable are you in your bare skin?”

Revlon Sandstorm Super Lustrous Lipgloss not nearly as nice a shade as the lipstick! Who knows what happened here!?

This year Hard Candy Glamoflauge Foundation is available in brand new shade selections but if you haven’t tried it yet, now would be a good time to do so as it is a great foundation formula at a very affordable price!

What are some of your favorite beauty and makeup picks that launched last year?

Have you tried any of these?

Do share!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

I loved the Sonia Kashuk collection from last year. It was one of my all time favorites, from the brushes and makeup to the bags.
