Fenty Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil ($38) might be here for Fall 2018 but it’s all Holiday! This sparkling diamond highlighter is gorgeous to say the least but I had no real interest in it until Dexter Mayfield started dancing around Instagram while applying it all over his body until he gleamed like a star. All of a sudden it became something I had to have. I mean, I was ready to dance around in my underwear and apply it all over my body! Of course, I wouldn’t post it on Instagram but still…..the thought crossed my mind.

Tom Ford Lost Cherry Eau de Parfum ($320) launched today and I really need to smell it ASAP. That is if I can get past the name….! We all have our beef with inappropriate makeup products. Kat Von D’s Underage Red was the topic of hot debate a year or so not to mention NARS Orgasm and Deep Throat, and Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. Not to mention any number of Urban Decay Eyeshadow names…! Sex and beauty seem to go hand in hand it seems.

It’s no great surprise that Tom Ford named his latest fragrance Lost Cherry. Tom Ford and sex are synonymous, they just go together like peanut and jelly! Just take a look at any number of his adverts not to mention the man himself is sex personified. If only I was a gay man.

Name aside I feel a trend in the air lately don’t you? Everything cherry seems to be a thing in the beauty world and I love that. Urban Decay Naked Cherry, Bobbi Brown’s new Infra-Red Eyeshadow Palette. Yes, I’m seeing a trend and I hope Lost Cherry will give birth more perfumes that contain luscious red cherry notes because if nothing else cherry can be a very sexy note!

This is actually a gourmand which is a rarity in the Tom Ford Private Blends Collection in my opinion. According to first impressions around the Internet this starts out with a big blast of a tart cherry note and softens to a velvety wood with notes of rose, jasmine, and tonka! I don’t typically like oud fragrances but this sounds terribly sexy!

I REALLY need to get to Nordstrom and smell this!

The Sephora Holiday 2018 Preview Event for Rouge Members is happening this weekend (September 15th). You likely got an invite via e-mail on Saturday but if not here’s the details!

Head over to Sephora.com to RSVP for this event which is happening this Saturday, September 15th in Sephora stores from 8:30 AM to 10 AM. The event is open to Sephora Rouge Members only and enables them to purchase a small selection of some of the latest Holiday 2018 Gift Sets and Palettes from brands like Bite Beauty, Tarte, Too Faced, and more. If you can’t make it to your local store the items will likely be available at Sephora.com for purchase (they accidentally were on Saturday already) all weekend long and will go on sale for everyone else Monday morning if they keep with tradition of the way they have done things in the past.

During the event they’ll be mini makeovers as well a limited edition makeup bag with purchases of $50 or more. I’m leaving for Chicago tomorrow so I might need to grab anything that pops up online Saturday morning versus heading in store for a purchase! Unless I hit up Sephora while there but I don’t see it happening since my schedule is jam packed! Also, is it weird I don’t see anything I really must have!? But I do have my eye on that gorgeous Bobbi Brown Infra-Red Eyeshadow Palette ($39) because hello, red eyeshadow!

Wakey wakey makeup lovers! It’s a new week! How was your weekend? I spent mine putting up Fall decor! Well, technically I did that all on Saturday! And it seriously took like the entire day. I went to see the Nun Friday night, had some dinner out, went home, tucked into bed, and proceeded to get up stupid o’clock on Saturday to start hauling out the boxes of seasonal stuff. I didn’t put any Halloween up yet typically I leave that until the last weekend of September but I did decorate the house in all the fall leaves and pumpkin spice everything all over the damn place.

Saturday night came awful quick as hauling those boxes up and down the stairs was WORK! Phew! Sunday afternoon was super productive but the morning consisted of a rather big marathon binge of really cutesy teen movies on Netflix. OMG has anyone seen Kissing Booth yet? Too cute! Or To All the Boys I Loved Before? And Sierra Burgess Is a Loser? I swear my poor boyfriend was brain dead by the time we got all those out of the way (he did have running commentary throughout two of the movies but fell asleep on the third). Total mindless dribble but worthy of a watch. And I now have a new Netflix boyfriend, Noah Centineo! Or maybe, it should be Jacob Elordi! Choices though…!

Also, for reasons I shall not name I am in love with Casey Deidrick ahem (some of you likely already know why! Damnyummm!).

Anyway, 21 days of Ulta goodness continues today with one of my fav primers! Stila One Step Prime which was totally created by the Umbrella Corporation in some underground lab somewhere. All three flavors are available today for $18 each at Ulta.com.

Also, nobody ever asked Popsugar to create a makeup collection but………..! They did and all the lip products are on sale for $9-$12 each (50% Off) maybe this is an excuse to check it out!

Flesh is on sale already too. Revlon’s new upscale makeup collection isn’t performing all that great if it hit the sale rack already I guess! All the highlighters are 50% off today only at Ulta.com.

Too Faced Peach Lip Scrub ($17) (0.51 oz) is a new peaches and cream-infused exfoliating scrub for your lips that got added to the Too Faced Peaches & Cream Collection which is available exclusively at Sephora. Too Faced added a few new additions to the collection for Fall 2018 and it doesn’t surprise me in the least since 1. the collection was well received and popular when it launched. 2. It’s logical to add more items on with the success the line is having to keep things fresh and new. and 3. Too Faced launched a new Tutti Frutti Collection at Ulta so of course, Sephora has to keep their own fan base interested in their exclusive collection thus new items will get them the attention they want when Ulta is also have their moment in the sun!

It was pretty much a no brainer to pick up the Too Faced Peach Lip Scrub simply because I’m as addicted to lip scrubs as I am to lip balms. It actually a product I use fairly often and I run out of rather quickly simply because I am prone to drier lips. I tend to use a lip scrub two or three times a week to keep my lips nice and smooth. I think most people will find the $17 price tag for this a little much especially when you have a few drugstore options like Chapstick Total Hydration Conditioning Lip Scrub that will do just as good a job. But I typically buy Sara Happ’s Lip Scrubs at $22 for to $24 so, it wasn’t too bad plus the size is rather generous! But yeah, it’s an indulgence!
