5 stars out of 5

Natasha Denona Mini Gold Eyeshadow Palette ($25) is a new, limited edition Holiday 2019 5-pan eyeshadow palette which is exclusively available at Sephora. I purchased this the day it came out because I love a good olive green palette. Greens just look great on my big brown eyes. But this is sort of another case of Fall 2019 merging into Holiday 2019 because I swear this feels way more Fall in tone than it does Holiday. We’re seeing a lot of this happen across many brands! Too Faced Extra Spicy Gingerbread Eyeshadow Palette, the new Hot Buttered Rum Eyeshadow Palette, etc…etc..! It’s just a lot of really beautiful Fall shades yet brands are promoting them as Holiday 2019. Considering how early this items came out it’s no wonder they are Fall in tone!

None the less, Fall or Holiday, the Natasha Denona Mini Gold Eyeshadow Palette is a beauty and well worth a pick up!

Natasha Denona Mini Gold Eyeshadow Palette is $25 and holds 5 eyeshadows that are 0.028 oz each for a total of 0.14 oz of eyeshadow. The palette is small, travel-friendly, and although plastic, it’s a nice elegant mirrored gold case.

Eyeshadows included are:

  • Dark Sepia (dark taupe with pink shimmer)
  • Bia (matte olive green)
  • Lodge (matte light tawny brown)
  • Antheia (taupe with green reflects)
  • D’or (high shine vibrant yellow gold)

Natasha Denona Mini Gold Eyeshadow Palette swatches

According to the brands description the shades are matte, shimmer, and duo-chrome in finish but I didn’t quite feel like any of them with duo-chrome! They felt more metallic in my opinion. All five shades performed beautifully. The mattes were firm but silky with an easy to apply formula that felt buttery and blended very well! They were some of the very best mattes I’ve tried in a while with very little fall out. The blending was incredible on these! Mattes can be a chore at times to blend but these blended like butter! The shimmers or metallics as I call them had a beautiful texture as well but were looser in the pan so there was some powdery kick up but nothing dry nor chalky but these did have a little bit of fall out. They had an almost cream-like texture that applied and blended beautifully. All five shades had excellent pigmentation.

It’s exceptionally rare for a palette to have a variety of shades and finishes that perform perfectly across the board bu the ones in the Natasha Denona Mini Gold Eyeshadow Palette did just that.

This is a beautifully formulated eyeshadow palette at a truly excellent price. I highly recommend picking it up for Fall looks.

Natasha Denona Mini Gold Eyeshadow Palette is available now at Sephora.

Sephora

Natasha Denona Mini Gold Eyeshadow Palette is a limited edition Holiday 2019 eyeshadow palette that’s $25 and contians 5 eyeshadows that are 0.028 oz each for a total of 0.14 oz. The palette is lightweight, travel-friendly, and easy to store. It contains two matte shades, one satin, and two shimmery metallics. I thought the palette applied and blended flawlessly across the board. Every single shade was a win for me! The mattes were firm but buttery and the metallics had a soft, almost creamy texture. There was some minimal fall out with the shimmer shade but nothing too crazy. All five shades had excellent pigmentation making for a perfectly formulated eyeshadow palette that was very flattering on my brown eyes!

I vacillate between wanting to pick this up and not. Murky greens don’t look great against my skintone. Do you have the larger gold palette? Those colours are probably better for me, but I don’t want a palette full of just golds and browns and was hoping the mini would be a good alternative.

I do and I think this compliments it nicely! This to me is all green, I don’t even really get the gold because the gold looks greenish as well! You might want to hold off on the larger gold, I have a feeling it’ll pop up on sale!

Yeah, I wasn’t sure if you were wearing the gold shadow or the greenish-gold one. Good to know it’s pretty much green! It looks great on you!

Sold, i think. It would be bang up with that new smashbox desert. You absolutely HAVE to get Sydney Grace Mountain Trail.

I swatched this in store and it is DIVINE. I talked myself out of it because I already have the shades and am on a low buy, but I def see the draw.
