Covergirl Reign Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches
.
Covergirl Reign Eyeshadow Palette ($14.98) is one of four new Covergirl My Majesty Collection that launched at Walmart earlier this month. The eyeshadow palettes have a certain Game of Thrones feel and look! Especially the Overthrown Eyeshadow Palette that looks like it has an Iron Throne on the cover. It seems like everyone is getting Game of Thrones fever and I’m cool with that!
Each palette contains 12 eyeshadows each in a variety of beautiful colors making them the biggest palettes I’ve seen released from Covergirl to date.
Let’s take a look at my review of the Covergirl Reign Eyeshadow Palette below!

If you’re a fond fan of the Covergirl TruNaked Eyeshadow Palettes or the more recent Peach Punch and Chocoholic Eyeshadow Palette from Peaches and Chocolate Collection you should get on very well with the Reign Eyeshadow Palette! These have a soft slurry texture with a hybrid texture that has a creamy satiny feel. It’s a beautifully textured eyeshadow and very much like my beloved Japanese eyeshadows from brands like KATE.

The Reign Eyeshadow Palette comes housed in a gold cardboard compact with a generously sized mirror located inside. The regal floral design decorating the front is very elegant! Inside you’ll find 12 eyeshadows in a range of jewel nude tones. Each of the shadows has a name printed below it. The wells are mismatched in size and the total size of the palette is 0.22 oz. I assume each of the shades are the same size despite the smaller and bigger wells. It seems like the reason they did this was to give you an idea of how to pair shares up using three shades. The smaller wells seem to be the liner and the two larger are contrasting shades for your lid and crease. Which means you can get four looks using their layout. Or mix and match as you want for endless looks. I used Money Maker a yellow gold and High Life a dark blue on my lid and crease so, I didn’t exactly follow their layout for my look.

I thought the formula was excellent on all the shades. Soft, lightly creamy, easy to apply and blend, very little fall out, and a nicely pigmented! All in all, a very beautiful palette.
Covergirl did a fantastic job on this palette and it’s well worth picking up in my humble opinion! For those interested it’s made in Canada.
The Covergirl Reign Eyeshadow Palette and all the other My Majesty Eyeshadow Palettes are available now at walmart.com!

Where to buy
Covergirl Reign Eyeshadow Palette is new, limited edition 12-pan palettes that’s $14.98 and 0.22 oz in size. The formula is much like the TruNaked Eyeshadow Palettes that Covergirl has in their standard collection. The shadows have a soft, creamy texture with excellent pigment! The application was very easy for me and the shades blended out beautifully. The palette is Made in Canada.
