Almay Gel Smooth Liner Metallics Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
2 stars out of 5

Almay Gel Smooth Liner Metallics ($8.49) launch late last month just in time for smooth in six shades that promise 12 hours of wear with a gel formula. I’m not really a metallic kinda eyeshadow girl because a lot of the time metallics come across frosty on my eyes (sometimes I run across a formula I love) but metallic gel liners? Gimme! Love them so much! They are always delightfully twinkly and gorgeous on my big brown eyes.

So, of course, I decided I wanted to give Almay Gel Smooth Liner Metallics a whirl. Plus it’s sort of a daring and different released for Almay who tends to play things safe. Lately, their releases seem more and more geared towards a younger demographic like their new Vibes Lipstick, Goddess Gloss, and the entire Cosmic Collection. It’s all just very youthful, fresh, and different for Almay! Also, it’s very welcome because Almay had some catching up to do in this department!

Niod Sanskrit Saponins Is Something I Don’t Exactly Get

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
2 stars out of 5

I purchased NIOD Sanskrit Saponins ($28) earlier this Summer because for some reason or another my normally dry skin decided to become extra oily. The entire idea of NIOD Sanskrit Saponins was it would act to deeply cleanse skin by removing dirt, oil, and dead skin cells. Missing something? It doesn’t remove makeup! That’s not what it was created for. I was fine with that because I thought I’d use it as part of my double cleansing method.

Since purchasing it I can honestly say I don’t exactly understand this formula and I’m not really sure what it is doing.

Too Faced Peach Mega Moisture Lip Balm Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
3 stars out of 5

Too Faced Peach Mega Moisture Lip Balm ($17) a new moisturizing lip balm with a “peaches and cream infused-formula” that hydrate lips with intense moisture. This released a few short months ago along with the Too Faced Peach Lip Scrub and Too Faced Sugar Peach Wet and Dry Face & Eye Palette.

You know I’m obsessed with lip balms especially super hydrating ones since I have drier lips! I picked this up hoping it would be as “mega” moisturizing as it promised.

A Whooping 33.8 oz Snow Fairy Shower Gel Is All You Need To Get Yourself Through the Holiday Season!

5 stars out of 5

Snow Fairy Shower Gel is available in a mega, super size bottle that’s 33.8 oz in size and you need it! I remember my first Christmas as a Lushie and I remember the first time I sniffed Snow Fairy. To say it was a magical experience is an understatement. Snow Fairy is a scent that truly leaves a lasting impression. It’s incredibly difficult to describe but think of fruity sweet cotton candy swirls and that might help you out. It just smells amazing and it’s addicting as hell! And it’s only available once a year in shower gel form (sometimes Lush will pop up with it in other products like Godmother Soap) and that’s during the Holiday season!

This year, much to my horror my other favorite item from Lush, Snowcake, is sadly missing from their Holiday 2018 line up but I think these HUGE, jumbo Snow Fairy Shower Gels are most definitely helping me mourn the loss of Snowcake (I’m sort of convinced they might surprise us with it on Black Friday or something).

Pond’s Cleansing Balm Review

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.
5 stars out of 5

Pond’s Cleansing Balm and Makeup Remover ($9.99) is a new solid, rose scented balm that turn emulsifies when water is added. There have been a few cleansing balms that launched at drugstores this past year like NYX Stripped Off Cleansing Balm and Yes to Coconut Coconut Oil Cleansing Balm but I think Pond’s Cleansing Balm actually nailed the formula in a way both of these formulas did not.

This is very close to the popular Banila Co Clean It Zero out of Korea in terms of consistency and texture. And it’s easily available at stores like Target and Walmart!
