Covergirl Peach Punch Highlighter Palette Review and Swatches

Covergirl Peach Punch Highlighter Palette ($10) is a new bronzer, blush, and highlighter palette that launched with the new Covergirl Peaches & Chocolate Collection for Summer 2018. This is Covergirl’s little nod to the Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Palette which launched back in 2016. I wouldn’t say the shades are a dupe but the idea is pretty much the same as both palettes contain a blush, highlighter, and bronzer. I do love the Too Faced one so I was eager to try out the Covergirl one as well!

Let’s take a look at my review below.

Revlon’s New Prestige Flesh Makeup Collection Arriving this June

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Revlon has a new prestige makeup line called Flesh that will be arriving at Ulta on June 24th. The name, Flesh, refers to the brand’s philosophy of creating a shade-inclusive collection of makeup that has 40 shades of foundation.

The line is small with 12 different products available including blush, highlighter, lipsticks, and other notable base makeup products.

Linda Wells, Revlons Chief Creative Officer, recently told WWD, “Its really focused on the idea of flesh being all flesh colors “ were redefining the notion of what flesh color really is and having it be inclusive on every level… Now, 40 foundations has almost become the industry standard, but its really broadening that conversation and proposition out to other products as well.”

Thanks to Fenty Beauty’s launch many, many brands are starting to include all inclusive shades in their launches which makes finding your perfect color match a heck a lot easier.

But Flesh doesn’t come cheap and the prices are more along the lines of a mid-range brand that would be carried at Sephora Starting at $18 and climbing to $38 this isn’t Revlon’s line of pricing that’s for sure.

I Don’t Need Lancome Rose Jelly Mask But I Do Want It

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

There are so many things in my beauty life I don’t need but I do want. Knowing the difference between needing and wanting can be daunting. I’m putting Lancome’s Rose Jelly Mask under the “Don’t Need But Do Want” category. I mean I have plenty of great moisturizing serums, lotions, and potions but one more mask won’t hurt right?

Lancome Rose Jelly Mask ($35) is hydrating gel mask that contains rose water, honey, and hyaluronic acid to hydrate and lock in moisture.

Simply apply it after your nightly routine and leave it on over night. In the AM, rinse it off and reveal smooth, soft skin. Or at least we can hope that’s how it works out 😉 Sadly, they killed it for me when I found out alcohol denat was like the 5th ingreident in this mask.

Sigh, groan, eye roll. Why!?

I guess I saved $35!

Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Looks A Lot Like Tarte Shape Tape Foundation

Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Fall 2018

Too Faced Born This Way Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer ($29) is a new natural finish foundation that acts as a concealer, contour, and highlighting tool. As a fan of the original Born This Way Foundation I’m pretty excited about this launch but why does it look so much like Tarte Shape Tape Foundation!?

Born this Way Super Coverage arrives in the same packaging as Tarte’s newest foundation with an overlarge doe foot applicator for application. But Tarte isn’t really the one to release foundation in this packaging as Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint and Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer also have similiar packaging.

It seems like brands are going back to those hybrid Foundation & Concealer 2-in-1 Formulas that failed to take off back in 2015.

Winky Lux Disco Gloss is a Perfect Time to Play That Long Forgotten Bee Gees Song

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Winky Lux Disco Gloss and Mini Disco Lipgloss arrive today and it’s a perfect excuse to haul out that old Samantha Sang Bee Gees collaboration, Emotion. I mean in all honesty, this video could be a commercial for lipgloss. What is she wearing on her lips?! And where can I get some!? That’s the question that haunts me. It reminds me of Too Faced long gone and awesome Mirror Mirror Lipgloss!

Could it be Winky Lux Disco Gloss ($14)? This new formula is a color-changing gloss with cosmic glitter that adds shine, sparkle, and the perfect flush of pink to lips! It also comes in a mini size too for travel ($8).

The 80s call they want their lipgloss back! This so has gives me 80s vibes. When pop beads, charm necklaces, and jelly sandals were important parks of your wardrobe.

I have to admit I’m feeling the red and orange shades! The red looks almost Orgasm-like in color! They look like they’d look pretty on top of lipstick.

Hmmm!
