Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter Year Of The Rat is now available at beautylish.com. Sadly this isn’t a new shade of Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter! It’s actually Moonstone which is a lovely luminous warm golden shade! I do wish when brands released special edition Lunar Year products that the products were actual a new or limited edition shade. Le sigh! Sadly, I already have a Moonstone compact in my collection and can’t justify purchasing another but I’m tempted. Very tempted! I collect Chinese New Year Makeup Collections and this would be a really great piece in my collection with the rat imprint on the powder! Well, it looks like a mouse not a rat but hey, I’ll take it!

Yasss! Bath and Body Works continues their gourmand streak for Spring 2020 as they are releasing three new scents called Confetti Cake Pop, Strawberry Pound Cake, and Margarita Cupcake! Sign me up because Cocoa and Mint, Santa�s Blueberry Shortbread, Christmas Cookies, and Bright Lemon Snowdrop that launched for Holiday 2019 were amazing. Truly these were keeper fragrances and I was delighted they finally created scents that actually contained notes and smelled like their names. Bath and Body Works is notorious for creating a scent called cupcake and having it smell NOTHING like a cupcake. It was nice that Cocoa and Mint actually smelled like chocolate and mint and that Santa’s Blueberry Shortbread actually had a nice nutty biscuit note along with a blueberry ones.

Scent_Oasis on Instagram posted new shower gels on her page featuring Confetti Cake Pop, Strawberry Pound Cake, and Margarita Cupcake. She only mentioned they smelled great so not sure if they smell like their namesakes but let’s hope so! I could totally dig a cake pop fragrance! These will likely launch with the “Sweet Shop” Collection that Bath & Body Works does as we head deeper into the Winter and into Valentine’s Day. Already we are seeing a few Sweet Shop Candles one of which is Strawberry Pound Cake!

A lot of people aren’t really into smelling like cakes and cookies but I can’t say I mind. I do so love foodie, dessert-like fragrances!

Guess what? You probably don’t need the Fenty Dry Brush Cleansing Sponge because dude, it’s $18! Riri, babe, how you getting away with this sort of highway robbery? I love you but really, $18? Ok, we’ll give you one thing, your packaging is ace. The rose gold tin, the lid, it’s pretty darn chic but dry makeup brush cleansers are around $5-$6 a pop from a variety of brands. I mean, the J. Cat Beauty Dry Makeup Brush Cleaner I reviewed and loved a few years ago set me back $5.99 and I think it actually had a bit more surface area for my brush to move around in than the Fenty one.

Dry makeup cleansing sponges are pretty nifty. They have a rough surface area that almost has a Brillo-like feel and require no water nor soap to quickly remove eyeshadow or blush from a brush. If you need to quickly switch between colors this is a great way to do so as you simply swipe your brush across the pad a few times and it’ll remove the powder from your brush. This makes things easier when applying several eyeshadows in a look as you look won’t go muddy while blending due to colors polluting each other! It’s actually not as rough as brushes you’d think either. I was concerned I’d have split hairs or even shedding when using one but it actually doesn’t split the brush hairs at all. It’s not a cleansing solution but it is a quick clean solution when working on an eye look.

However, it is not worth spending $18 on as there are a variety of brands that do cheaper versions!

It Cosmetics Confidence in Your Beauty Sleep arrives today for Spring 2020 and I gotta admit I was excited about this launch. I don’t like the original Confidence in A Cream because I just never felt like it did much for me! I did really enjoy It Cosmetics Confidence in a Gel Lotion though so, that’s something right?

“Confidence In” has become a brand all its own at this point. There’s Confidence in a Foundation, Confidence in an Eye Cream, etc…etc…! The only thing we were truly missing was a night cream and that’s exactly what It Cosmetics Confidence Confidence In Your Beauty Sleep is.

I’ve been personally trying to find a new anti-aging night cream and this sounded interesting when I ran across the blurb on Instagram but sadly, there’s a major issue.
